Principal's Message

Welcome to Pleasant View Middle School! At PVMS, our staff, students, and parents combine to create the Pleasant View Family, a community of learners supporting one another with a singular mission: to maximize the growth of each individual child. Our skilled staff at Pleasant View understands how important it is for students to have a positive experience in middle school, and we are committed to meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students. We understand that maximizing student growth takes the collaborative efforts of staff, students, and parents. We welcome your involvement in the PVMS Family and your child's education.

Keeping our students and staff healthy and safe is a high priority at Pleasant View Middle School. Providing you with up-to-date information is also a significant aspect of our partnership with you.

During this pandemic, it is important for you to contact our school attendance line at (614) 801-8889 to let us know within 24 hours if your child has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Please leave your name, your child's name, your child's grade, and a contact number where you can be reached for additional information.

Close contact is defined as:

  • Being within 6 feet of someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more.

  • Providing care at home to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

  • Being in direct physical contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 (hug).

  • Sharing eating or drinking utensils with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

I can speak for the staff at Pleasant View when I say that we are honored to serve the amazing students and families of PVMS!

Sincerely,

Brett Harmon, Principal
